I'm Cassandra J., the breeder behind Red River Doodles located in East Grand Forks, MN. We are huge animal lovers and have a special place in our hearts for our dogs. All of our dogs are raised inside our home. We want to provide top-quality beloved companions. Our puppies are raised with love in our home, and we strive to help each one grow up with confidence so they are ready to thrive with their new families. They are affectionate, intelligent, and cute as can be!

Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding by my close neighbors, they breed Sheepadoodles and golden doodles. They had asked me if I would be interested in raising dogs and caring for them like they do. I thought why not, if I don’t like it, I can do it and try it once and I absolutely adore Poodles although I wasn’t too familiar with Sheepdogs either, I did a lot of research on the breeds and what I was going to be going into. Turns out I absolutely spending my time nurturing and caring for this breed and puppies 24/7.What makes your program special?
What makes my breeding program special is the amount of work I put in for making the best possible pet. This includes, getting the idea of potty training, crate training, telling the puppy parents consistency is key, and grooming is so so important for this breed and I love telling how the puppy parents can care for their new dogs coat.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle, black and white, and fawn and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

About Ivy

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
