I'm Kathryn H., the breeder behind Regalant Silken Windhounds located in Michigan. I enjoy doing a wide variety of activities with my silkens, and I breed dogs that I would like to own. This means dogs with lure drive and who enjoy being active. My adults have enjoyed agility, lure coursing, nosework, trick training, and rally obedience, and I aim to produce at least some sports prospects with each litter. I believe silkens are more successful in these activities when they are healthy and accurate representatives of the breed standard, so conformation and health feature heavily in my breeding decisions. My goal is to breed functional silkens that are happy, healthy, and beautiful.

Kathryn has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Kathryn partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 10 weeks old.
“I wait to match puppies to families until after the puppies have had their structural and temperament evaluations, which generally happens around 8 weeks. That is also around the time I will choose my own keeper (if I keep one from the litter). At that point I reach out to specific families to set up interviews.”

“Puppies come UTD on all vet-recommended vaccines. They are microchipped & registered w/ UKC and ISWS. They leave my house with a go-home pack. Puppies are not priced differently based on color or sex.”
Kathryn may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Kathryn offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Kathryn directly.
When you pay and communicate on Good Dog, you’re covered by Payment Protection.
You can drive or fly to pick up your puppy from Kathryn.

Velvet went for his consult today. The only real option for him is amputation, which they want to do when he’s a bit older. He will be staying with me through surgery and recovery. He can probably go to his new home in early 2026.

About Glow
Glow is sweet and silly, but she has no shame. She commits a lot of crime in my house—mostly petty larceny. She's probably a bit much for your average silken owner, but she's perfect for me. She has her own ideas about things and gets distracted easily, but she can always make me smile.
