I'm Avery C., the breeder behind Remember the Name Bullies located in Alden, MN. Our dogs are an integral part of our lives on the farm. We raise them as a cohesive part of our family from day one, along side other dogs, horses, and kids; to ensure that they’ll make the best and most versatile companions to your family!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My grandfather was the veterinarian professor at the university of Minnesotas equine breeding program for 20 years then went on to cultivate 4 farms, with thriving equine herds on everyone from Minnesota to North Carolina. So you could say it runs in the family, we dedicate our lives to always work to better our breed and put our dogs first!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include fawn sable and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Avery

Avery has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $4,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Avery may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. Parent health testing

Remember the Name Bullies reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for American Bullies.

  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Full Embark Panel, Cone-Rod Dystrophy 1 (crd1), American Staffordshire Terrier Type, Ichthyosis, American Bulldog Type, DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
