I'm Robert P., the breeder behind RFP Pointers German Shorthaired Pointers located in Pierz, MN. Our goal is to produce healthy, well-rounded German Shorthaired Pointers that excel as companions both in the field and in the home. We breed each litter of puppies with the goal of superior temperament, health, conformation, movement, and the natural ability and drive to hunt. We take great pride in our dogs, and they produce outstanding puppies.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I started breeding dogs back when I was in high school after not doing it for a number of years I got back into it.
  • What makes your program special?

    I am a very small kennel and my availability for past and future customers is something I take pride in, you can always ask me questions at anytime. I love to be able to add family members to families and take pride in my dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include liver roan, liver and white, black roan, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
