Q. & A. with Tracy
Why did you start breeding?
I purchased my 1st show Dalmatian in 1988 from Jack & Beth White of Melody Dals. Roxy was natural in the show ring and taught me a lot! All I had to do was hang on. She was finished her AKC championship quickly. I bred my 1st litter with the help of Beth White of Melody Dalmatians. I have had many wonderful Dalmatians since then. Im very picky on who I purchase Dalmatians from.
What makes your program special?
I go above & beyond training pups prior to going to their forever homes. I will make written recommendations specific to your pup personality. Basic puppy training starts at 5 weeks. I can help you through the process of potty training, obedience training or behavior problems. I have a fb page open to all for communication
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white and black and white and liver brown. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Tully
Tully is a gentle well natured liver female. She is active and lives for her morning runs. She has her excited side, but settles down well. She’s currently showing in AKC confirmation events.
Gretta, mom
Dalmatian
About Gretta
Gretta is a moderate size at 45 lbs. Greta finished her championship quickly even with double blue eyes which can be undesirable in the show world. She is working on the Dcat titles. We are on other titles; CGC, therapy dog, and Rally. Her temperament is mellow, intelligent, and very affectionate. She loves to go on walks, runs off leash, hiking and loves to go on new adventures. She loves her human grand babies. She is gentle and fearless in every situation. Gretta is very sound in mind and body. She is the dog I can take anywhere.

Breeder-Reported Testing
Great level
Rhapsody Dalmatians reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Dalmatians.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
