I'm Marty & Tatiana G., the breeder behind River's Bend Walnut Orchard located in Red Bluff, CA. The Great Pyrenees are the best friends of kids and an ideal patrol for the garden and yard. This is a cheerful, kind, sensitive, reliable dog – she equally loves all family members, but is distrustful of strangers. Great caretaker and best friend!

Marty & Tatiana has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Marty & Tatiana partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“We are with our puppies 24 hours a day from the very beginning — they are born into our hands and raised in our home with constant care and attention. From the first days, we closely monitor their development, including daily weight checks, overall health, and growth. Most importantly, we spend a lot of time simply observing them — watching how each puppy develops, their temperament, energy level, and personality. Because of this, we get to know each puppy very well. We begin helping families choose their puppy around 4 weeks of age, when the puppies start to open their eyes and their individual personalities begin to show. At that time, we work closely with each family to understand their lifestyle, expectations, and preferences, and we carefully guide them in selecting the puppy that will be the best match for their home. Our goal is to create the perfect match — for both the puppy and the family 💛”

“The limited and full AKC registration. The price includes: - Veterinary certificate. - 30 days of pet health insurance. - Puppy Purchase Agreement. -Microchip. - Deworming, vaccinations. - A blanket with the scent of mom, toys, food. Deposits are non-refundable, however they may be transferred to a future litter if needed.”
Marty & Tatiana may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Marty & Tatiana offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Marty & Tatiana directly.

1:00 AM. Fight night 🥊🤦♀️😂 In the ring: Light Pink Girl vs Blue Boy 😁 Weight class: fluffy Rules: no rules… paws everywhere, ears involved, total chaos 😄 Round lasted about 2 minutes… then both forgot why they started and went back to being best friends 💕 Winner: friendship 🐾

Archi and Lumi's litter

Marty & Tatiana G.
This week has been VERY busy around here 🙉😁🐾 We’re learning all kinds of important puppy things — how to eat from a bowl, how to use the potty tray, and apparently… how to taste-test the fence too 😅 We’re trying our best and we think we’re doing pretty great so far 😍❤️

Archi and Lumi's litter

Marty & Tatiana G.
While the puppies and mama Lumi usually steal all the attention… today is about the proud dad of this beautiful litter — Sun Dance Archibald ❤️Archie is a magnificent male with a powerful presence and a truly gentle soul. Calm, confident, affectionate and incredibly well-balanced — he is everything we love about the Great Pyrenees breed. He comes from outstanding European bloodlines with Belgian and French heritage, rich in champions on both sides. Archie has a strong, impressive build, beautiful head, luxurious coat, and the noble character that makes this breed so special. At home, he is calm and composed, always quietly watching over his family and surroundings — a true guardian with the softest heart. Despite his size and strength, Archie is gentle, cheerful, and deeply devoted to his people. Of course… right now he is also a very curious father of twelve puppies 😅🐾 Although, to be fair, mama Lumi still thinks the babies are a little too tiny for full daddy access just yet 😂 So Archie mostly supervises from a respectful distance and patiently waits for the puppies to get bigger. One of the things we love most about Archie is the temperament he passes to his puppies — calm minds, loving hearts, strong structure, and that sweet Pyrenees softness we treasure so much 🥰

Mom said it’s time to learn how to eat from the bowl… We understood the assignment 🤣🐾😍

Sometimes being a mom means finally finding five quiet minutes… and still keeping one eye on your baby 😊❤️ Lumi takes her “breaks” very seriously — but puppy supervision never truly stops 🐾💕

Who said “calm”? We don’t know that word 😁🐾 20 days old only 🙊🙉🙈😅💗

Dear our future moms and dads 😄❤️Reporting live from the Milk Bar VIP Club… Everything is going exactly as planned — we eat like champions 💪 Mom’s milk? 10/10. Goat milk? Also 10/10. Honestly, we support all dairy options at this point 🐐😋 We’ve already doubled our weight (no big deal 😎) and are starting to practice standing on all four paws… with mixed results 😂 Our daily routine is very intense: eat → sleep → eat → complain → eat again → nap dramatically 🍼💤 Meanwhile, our grandma and grandpa (yes… that’s our humans 😄) have officially forgotten what sleep is — because someone has to run the 24/7 milk bar service 😁☕ In a few days, we’ll be upgrading the menu to ground beef… because apparently we are “little wolves” 🐺 (we are not convinced yet, but we are open to trying 😄) We’re growing fast, getting stronger, and becoming more adorable by the minute (we checked, it’s true 😉) Stay tuned… big personalities loading soon! 🐾🫶

I love very much when our puppies get into families with children. Each of them will have the best friend and will have many-many love and trust between them. Po 🥰 (White Boy, Archie’s & Josie’s Litter 💕01/01/25) Tracye writes: “I just wanted to tell you this pup is amazing! I have my grandson, I will be keeping him now, but Po is in love with him! He just adores this baby.. follows him everywhere and just loves all over him!! I think I just lost my pup to my grand baby but that’s totally ok cause they are just loving each other!!! He even lays where he can watch Mason while he plays.. it’s amazing to watch! He just adores him!! If Mason starts crying he gets up and walks over to him and just plops down beside him and kisses him… so precious” 🙏❤️❤️

About Lumi
Lumi is a truly special girl — gentle, intelligent, and deeply devoted to her family. She has a calm, balanced temperament and a natural guardian instinct, combined with a soft and affectionate nature. She is a beautiful, strong, and well-built female with an impressive presence and elegant movement. Lumi comes from excellent bloodlines, with champion heritage on her mother’s side, reflecting both quality and character. At home, she is incredibly loving and attentive, especially as a mother. About Teddy
Teddy’s full name is Valiant Knight Odin. But it so happened that the mischievous little puppy did not like the name Odin. He told us: “I am a small fluffy bear cub and my name is Teddy!” lol. Teddy is from Minnesota, from a livestock farm and entered our family when he was 8 weeks old. Teddy is an amazing dog! Smart, infinitely kind, beautiful, affectionate and proud male. And he is an amazing father! You will smile, but this is true, he watched and guarded each of his offspring. He is always with the puppies. This once again confirms the purpose of this breed. Pyr is Dog Guardian, protector and companion.

We're beyond grateful to have found Marty and Tatiana. From the very first interaction, it was clear that we couldn’t have asked for more caring, dedicated, or knowledgeable breeders. It's so evident how deeply they love their dogs and puppies, and it gave us such peace of mind knowing how well-loved and nurtured our sweet boy was before he even came home to us. The quality of care they provide is truly top-tier. At our very first vet visit, our veterinarian asked what we were feeding our puppy. When we told her the specific diet Marty and Tatiana had him on, her immediate response was, "Wow, I love your breeder already!" That interaction spoke volumes to us. It's clear that these puppies are given the absolute best start in life, from their high-quality nutrition to being perfectly groomed and showered with affection from day one. Beyond their expertise, Tatiana is an absolute pleasure to work with. Getting to know her has been such a positive addition to our entire puppy experience. She has a huge heart and is a tireless, incredible advocate for her pups, long after they have gone to their forever homes. She's always there to offer support, answer questions, and celebrate every milestone. If you are looking for a breeder who treats their dogs like family and their puppy owners like friends, look no further. We feel so lucky to be part of the family, and we couldn't be happier with our beautiful, healthy, and happy boy!

We had a wonderful experience getting our puppy from Marty and Tatiana. :) From the very beginning, they were caring, responsible, and truly invested in making sure their puppies went to good homes. They were always available to answer questions, provided helpful information, and made the entire process easy and stress-free. What really stood out was how accommodating they were on delivery day. They were willing to drive and meet us halfway, which made the pickup much more convenient for us. Their communication was excellent throughout, and it was clear how much they care about both their dogs and the families adopting them. Our beautiful puppy arrived healthy, happy, and well-socialized 😊 We couldn’t be happier with the experience and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a quality breeder. They made the whole process smooth, enjoyable, and worry-free.

The breeders were very nice and very helpful we had to put our 7 year old deaf Australian Shepherd dog down in February he had a lot of hip pain and back ankle problems and hip, dad thought he had some Great Pyrenees in him but we never did a test. Ever since then we’ve been looking for a Great Pyrenees dog we have 2 other dogs that are Australian Shepherds , they were really depressed without their brother and our youngest Aussie needed a play mate. So we found the dog I contacted Tatiana through the app and their he was our best boy ever we don’t have a name for him right now we’re just calling him Blue until we think of the perfect name for him but a huge shout out to Tatiana and Marty! Thank you so much, we really appreciate you guys taking the opportunity with us . He’s the sweetest boy ever!

We've had a wonderful and excellent experience working with Marty and Tatiana. I had specifically sought out an AKC Breeder of Merit, and a breeder who was breeding dogs that have a European lineage, and Marty and Tatiana not only met those requirements, but their love and care for Great Pyrs was immediately evident. We were looking for a puppy who was being raised in a home, not in a commercial breeding program. I knew from my first contact with Tatiana that we shared the same philosophy about these precious dogs. We highly recommend River Bend Walnut Orchard and Marty and Tatiana if you are interested in the best Great Pyr puppies for your family. We are absolutely in love with our little Winnie, aka, Orange Girl. 🥰

We had a fantastic experience with Marty & Tatiana from River's Bend Walnut Orchard. We picked up 2 beautiful female Great Pyrenees pups last week and brought them home to be working dogs on our ranch in the mountains of SE Arizona. The pups were in a very clean and well thought out situation at Marty & Tatiana's house and they were well-socialized and clean. The girls are sweet and gentle, and already getting along famously with our other animals. Marty & Tatiana helped facilitate a smooth transaction and were knowledgeable and helpful in helping us choose our pups as well as helpful in teaching us about breeding and structuring our future breeding program. We hope to become reputable breeders of quality Great Pyrenees in the future and we know that we can reach out to Marty & Tatiana if we have questions or need advice along the way. Thank you again for a great experience!
