I'm Kristina D., the breeder behind Royal Russells Ranch located in Missouri. RRR pups come registered, microchipped and with 30 days free insurance. We also work with a professional trainer if you are interested in having your pup go through obedience or additional advanced training before delivery.

Why did you start breeding?
My love of Russell Terriers has simply poured over into breeding.What makes your program special?
We have a large family, so every one of our breed dogs are catered to by a member of the family. We work with basic puppy training from the start. Every one of our puppies comes with a title and a name that they have been called since birth. For the health of our pups we do not allow in person pickups. We hope to add this feature in the next year as we add on to our facility.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white and black and white and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Program update on 25 Dec 2025 •…It’s very important when you are purchasing a dog that you are honest about who the dog is for and what you plan to do with it. Some dogs have the personality for skills training or hunting. Some are cuddlers. Some prefer kids, while others have gender preferences. If you intend to breed the dog, you need to state that as well. We know our dogs. We know what environments each will thrive in, and where they may struggle. I will not ever intentionally send a dog into an incompatible environment for their personality. The only two times we have ever had a dog not work out has been when the purchaser did not give us accurate information. Also, if you purchase a dog that is more than six months old, it will take 2-4 weeks for the dog to START to decompress and get used to their new environment. When you purchase the dog you are agreeing to give the dog time to do that. Patience means 2-4 weeks minimum.

Program update on 23 July 2025 •…You’ll notice we have older pups right now. This is not due to any fault of the pups. Due to two deaths in my immediate family, we simply did not market the remaining pups much other than the GD listings. These pups are extremely intelligent and will learn new skills quickly. They currently spend most of their time relaxing. Some are great at fetch. Some love water. Some are great truck ride alongs. Give us a shout and we will help match the pup to your preferences.

Brown and White, Broken Coat Jack Russell Terrier Shorty. Sweet, mild tempered, calm. Does not like to be around dogs or people that argue, and will bark at those doing so. He really does tell you to stop. Super smart. Prince started out as a puppy looking smooth coat, but over time his coat grew and as an adult his head and legs are smooth but his body is rough. Kind of like he’s wearing a sweater vest lol. So this is called a broken coat.

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

"9+ months with new adventures every day". Kristina introduced us to our new Jack Russel Terrier puppy almost 9 months ago. This was our first Jack Russell so we were a bit unsure of what to expect. Flash forward a few day and we knew. This is an amazing breed and our puppy, Rein, was no exception. You can expect boundless energy, surprising intelligence and one of the most lovable breeds we have experienced. Rein loves to cuddle and is the most affectionate dog we have had. She also loves to play. Balls, toys of all shapes and sizes, tug of war, fetching objects and long walks are her favorites. She is also amazingly athletic, can leap large objects in a single bound and is blazingly fast when given the open spaces. Our experience with Kristina (Royal Russel Ranch) will not be forgotten. She was always available for questions whether it be about Jack Russels in general or the specifics of our new puppy including more photos, personality and traits. The paperwork and specifics of gaining ownership were organized and straight forward. In our case we were picking our puppy up at the airport so Kristina had volunteered to meet us with all that we needed to return home. All great experiences but nothing to compare with the joy that this little pup brought home.
