Meet the breeder

I'm LeAnne T., the breeder behind Royal T Acres located in Heyburn, ID. Our dogs are bred for variety of color, temperament, intelligence, and to keep them as hypoallergenic as possible. We strive to activate their noses and prepare them for diabetic alert, or other therapy or service work. This involves socialization, sound desensitization, and potty/crate training.

Q. & A. with LeAnne

  • Why did you start breeding?

We raised cocker spaniels years ago, but they caused so many allergies that we had to quit having dogs. Later we discovered there was such a thing as hypoallergenic dogs. Poodles and their crosses tend to be hypoallergenic. Dogs can add so much joy to a person's life. The love they give is hard to beat. We once again began breeding man's best friend, but without the allergies.
  • What makes your program special?

A member of our family is diabetic and we have seen the great asset an alert dog can be. We imprint the smell of low blood sugar starting when they are newborn. This not only will help them be great for training as an alert dog, but it helps them use their noses in other capacities.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Assorted Doodle Crosses puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Assorted Doodle Crosses puppies include black tri-color, black and white, parti, phantom, chocolate, merle, blue merle, and black phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

LeAnne was lovely to work with! She communicated well and was willing to video with us a many times so we could observe the puppies! She answered all my questions and was very informative about the breed. You can tell she loves the pups too! The experience was smooth all around and Good Dog was easy to navigate and work with. We love our sweet pup (Remington) so much! He has assimilated well into our family and we cannot wait to take him camping and on many future family adventures.
