I'm Valarie Q., the breeder behind Saddle Creek Kennels located in Sioux Falls, SD. Our dogs are family-raised and bred for versatility, ability, and drive. They are very trainable and make excellent hunters! We breed each litter of puppies with the goal of superior temperament, health, conformation, movement, and the natural ability and drive to hunt and hike.
Q. & A. with Valarie
Why did you start breeding?
We started with Italian Greyhounds and had an excellent experience. Since we hunt and love the outdoors we found the Pudelpointer breed to be quite amazing. Smartest, most loyal and sweetest dogs we’ve ever worked with!
What makes your program special?
We love our litters like our own children! Hip tested, NAVHDA members with field tests for the parents, DNA tests as well as amazing pedigrees
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are liver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Saddle Creek Kennels is a reputable breeder and I cannot recommend them enough. The dogs were well taken care of and the breeders were extremely knowledgeable. Valerie answered all of our questions and continued to keep the lines of communication open after we brought our little puppy home.
