Meet the breeder

I'm Beth L., the breeder behind Safari Schipperkes located in Fort Worth, TX. Beth Lilly of Safari Schipperkes, Fort Worth, Texas. For 35+ years I’ve been dedicated to preserving the Schipperke through thoughtful pedigree research, comprehensive health testing, and careful temperament selection. Champions in the ring, exceptional companions at home.

Q. & A. with Beth

  • Why did you start breeding?

My journey began with one Schipperke who completely stole my heart. Their intelligence, loyalty, and bold personality captivated me. What started as loving a pet quickly grew into showing, studying pedigrees, and learning from respected mentors. Over time, that passion evolved into a lifelong commitment to preservation breeding and helping the breed thrive.
  • What makes your program special?

We are rooted in purpose and preservation. I combine decades of pedigree study with comprehensive health testing and careful temperament evaluation. My dogs live in my home as family, and every litter is thoughtfully planned with the future of the breed in mind. I strive to produce Schipperkes who are sound in body, steady in mind, and true to type whether in the ring or on the couch.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Beth

Beth has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Beth partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 9 weeks old.

"We take great care in placing each puppy in the home where they will thrive. Puppies are evaluated for temperament, structure, and overall personality before placement. Rather than allowing buyers to choose based on appearance, I carefully match each puppy to the family that best fits their lifestyle, goals, and expectations."

Price

Puppy prices include a $925 non-refundable deposit and between $925 - $1,575 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

"Pet/companion puppies are $1,850. Puppies evaluated and placed as show prospects are $2,500, reflecting additional evaluation and potential. The deposit is non-refundable. If life circumstances change, it may be applied toward a future Safari Schipperkes litter."

Contract & health guarantee

Beth may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
