I'm Ashly H., the breeder behind Sagebrush Mastiffs located in Dayton, NV. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and intelligence. We strive to produce the best overall pets and family members. We have developed several protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all of our dogs. It’s our top priority to make sure each of our puppy families welcomes a happy and healthy new family member into their homes!
Q. & A. with Ashly
Why did you start breeding?
We started Sagebrush Mastiffs out of the love for the English mastiff breed. It all started with our first Apricot female, Bella and it was more of addiction after that. We knew we had to grow our Mastiff family more by adding Duchess and Smokey and now Tilly. Duchess has retired from her shows in 4H and breeding and now spends her days watching the neighbors take their garbage out. Smokey is just a lovable goofball who insists on trying to fit on the bed and couch or wherever else we are trying to relax at. He is better suited as a lap dog, when he climbs up and lays on you, youre not moving until he wants to get up. Tilly is our newest addition from a couple years ago. She is our beautiful fawn whose focus is to please and do whatever is asked (especially when treats are involved). I would say our Mastiff family is complete now we have all three colors but then again, we can never say no to another puppy in the house.
