Why did you start breeding?
A consistent love for the Irish Wolfhound breed and dog training encouraged the beginning of Salish Irish Wolfhounds. I wanted to give back to the breed by producing healthy pups and placing them into loving homes. It has been an absolute joy of a journey, and I am so happy to be able to share these wonderful dogs with other loving families and individuals.What makes your program special?
I do not breed my dogs unless they are fully healthy and genetically tested. My priority is quality over quantity and my puppies are placed in loving homes that I have reviewed carefully. I am dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, socializing, and training my pups. I take pride in raising well-tempered and socialized puppies who can excel in a variety of show venues, or as beloved companions. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
