I'm Laurie O., the breeder behind SAND CREEK Shorthairs located in Jordan, MN. Our focus at SAND CREEK Shorthairs is producing quality hunting and family dogs. We have 1 litter every 1-2 years. Our dogs are healthy and well cared for, they live in our home with us. We have them NA tested so you can be assured they will hunt if that is what you desire from your dog.

Why did you start breeding?
Grew up with parents that bred dogs and loved every minute of it. Changed breeds as an adult but I still love it and want to produce quality dogs for hunting and companion
What makes your program special?
We are small and only have 1 litter every year or two. We are not into breeding as a source of income but as a love for great hunting and family dogs. If you want to deal with people with old fashioned values we could have your next shorthair.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are liver roan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Laurie

Laurie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Laurie partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and $900 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“AKC registered. Tails docked and dew claws removed. 1st shots and deworming. I offer a 1 year guarantee for any genetic health issues that come up with a replacement of puppy or money back. All puppies are the same price regardless of color, sex or temperament.”

Contract & health guarantee

Laurie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Nahla
Nahla is a very special girl, she is a great snuggler and a proficient hunter. She has a strong prey drive and loves to search. She loves cooler weather and can hunt all day. Nahla is also well behaved in the house. We leave our dogs complete freedom in the house when we are away at work and they maintain our trust. She is also beautiful and a little silly at times.

About Jake
Jake is one of the kindest dogs I have met. He is also a very krafty hunter with a very stylish point. He holds a bird very well and will stay on point until the bird is flushed. Jake is also steady to wing and shot. He is well behaved in the house and is a pleasure to have around. His coat is a soft, smooth, shiny rich liver color.
