I'm Alyssa W., the breeder behind Sasha’s Elite Kennel LLC located in New Castle, DE. Our dogs are bred for temperament and conformation. We strive to provide new families with happy healthy dogs that can either be family pets, show dogs, loyal/emotion support dogs, and great breeders.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I got my first Chihuahua for my 16 birthday and from day 1 I fell in love with how loyal, sweet and affectionate she was! She ended up becoming my ESA as she was able to detect my anxiety before it would happen! After seeing how loyal and smart the Chihuahua breed was I did a lot of research before even thinking about breeding them.

  • What makes your program special?

    My babies are all AKC registered and I make sure they are all tested before becoming breeding quality. I breed for temperament and structure! Our puppies aren’t just your next pet but your next best friend!

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include long and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include merle, chocolate, cream, fawn, black sabled fawn, blue, white, cream and white, black and white, and fawn and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Alyssa

Alyssa has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Alyssa partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $1,500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $8,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“Price is determined by each puppy and their pedigree. Puppies size also contributes to the price. Deposit is nonrefundable which gets subtracted from the cost of a puppy. Deposit is 1/3 price of the puppy and is Non refundable. Deposits are subtracted from the price of said puppy. Puppy prices varies and depends on confirmation Size and linage of the puppy.”

Contract & health guarantee

Alyssa may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Full Embark Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    My experience with Alyssa from Sasha’s Elite Kennel was wonderful. Alyssa was responsive and a pleasure to work with from the first time I reached out inquiring about her puppies to the day I picked up my sweet Ava. All of my questions were answered thoroughly, and I did have quite a few :) I loved having the parents health records easily accessible. Alyssa, makes sure all of her dogs are healthy and goes above and beyond that of many other breeders. One of my favorite parts about working with Alyssa was the constant communication and updates on my puppy. The photos and videos made me feel like I knew my puppy before I met her and I was a part of her life. Once I picked up my puppy, she let me know that we were part of her family and anytime I had questions I was free to reach out.     I can not say enough good things about my experience with Alyssa and Sasha's Elite Kennel. When my dog passed away and I was looking for a puppy, I spent a very long time researching breeders to find the absolute perfect pup and Alyssa's puppies exceeded my expectations! I got my little Rue from her and she has been the most intelligent, athletic, and sweetest Chihuahua I have ever known. I chose Rue from a litter that was only 3 days old at the time and Alyssa kept me informed with pictures and updates the entire time up until I took her home. Being that we were states away, she made sure I was always up to date with her growth and always was so kind to answer all the questions I threw at her, haha! Rue is just shy of her 2nd birthday now and is competing in fastCAT, CPE Agility, Speedway and Obedience/Rally and I don't think I could have found a better dog than the one I got from Alyssa. She is an absolute dream and I am so blessed to have found Sasha's Elite Kennel.
