Q. & A. with Sara

  • Why did you start breeding?

Have you met Minzi, the face of SATA Kennels? Seven years ago, Sara embarked on a breeding journey, captivated by Minzi's exceptional temperament, love for children, loyalty, and charming personality. Minzi became the heart dog that ignited Sara's passion for all dogs. For us, breeding is not merely a business venture; it's a commitment to sharing the joy and love that dogs like Minzi bring into our lives.
  • What makes your program special?

What sets SATA Kennels apart? We meticulously select our sires and dams, prioritizing their health and temperament. Throughout pregnancy, we focus on the well-being of the mother, ensuring she receives optimal nutrition for herself and her pups' growth. Our spacious home provides ample room for exercise, while our animals are socialized extensively, laying the foundation for positive habits in the future.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Yorkshire Terrier puppies are black and tan. Shorkie puppies include red and white, red, and black and tan. Australian Shepherd puppies include red & white, black & white, red merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Boerboel puppies include irish marked, black, reddish brown, red, fawn, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
