I cannot thank Gerald and Leasa enough for the opportunity to adopt Buster. You can tell they really do love and care for the puppies. Buster has such a wonderful personality and I think that is partially because of how he was raised for first couple months, in a loving environment.

We could not have asked for a better experience!! We picked up our sweet Whoodle (Toryn) a couple of weeks ago. Leasa & Gerald were amazing through the whole process. They were great at communicating with us and made the transition so much easier. They even had us send her crate (for the plane trip home) so that they could get her used to it prior to us picking her up. This made the flight so easy. When we showed up to Schmidt's K9's . . . the puppies were so well cared for and the living spaces were immaculate. A few days after we got home we took Tory to see our local vet and she had only good things to say about the health of the puppy and also how organized (and cute) the paperwork was that they had ready for us - including her sweet little paw prints when she was born. We would definitely work with Leasa & Gerald again!! BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!

They were above and beyond helpful and communicative! Jimbo came home already comfortable in his crate, and with great temperament.

Few things are more exciting than a new dog. While it involves costs for many things beyond the dog’s price, there is nothing more valuable than your puppy’s early weeks with an experienced breeder. That’s why I was amazed and delighted to realize that my investment wasn’t only in the dog, but in the time, energy and expertise Leasa and Gerald with Schmidt’s K9s in Arizona put into my dog! Every dog is different, but here are a few wonderful things I was able to enjoy and appreciate immediately. A dog that is calm when held, that is comfortable with grooming and baths, stays close by and watchful for my guidance. He was not sensitive about paws, teeth, or nails. Imagine my surprise when he didn’t pull on a leash, and I was overwhelmed when he completely recognized the doggie door after only two tries. I was able to truly enjoy moving on to the more fun aspects of a new puppy right away with a dog that was prepared with many of the basics you cannot aways take for granted. There are many paths, consider which one fits you best. I would not hesitate to recommend Schmidt’s K9s based on my experience.

We were so lucky to find Schmidt's K9's. I was looking for a Whoodle and breeders I had contacted did not allow visits to their facilities or the dogs. That was strange to me as I had not looked for a new dog for over 14 years and waited another year to replace my beloved Weimaraner. Getting a new dog is a long-term commitment and not to meet them did not feel right. Schmidt's K9's not only invited us to come visit their facilities and dogs but encouraged it. If there was a rating system of 1 through 10, I would give them a 11! Our new dog Charlie is not only cute but is intelligent with personality plus! We have already referred friends and family.
