I'm Anne P., the breeder behind Sequoia Reds Vizslas located in Gervais, OR. I am dedicated to breeding incredibly loving pets with exceptionally kind dispositions and no hereditary defects. My standards are high with regard to their health and to the new homes they will be going to. I am happy to tell you more about what life with a Vizsla is like and how they will not only enhance your daily life, but exceed your expectations!
Q. & A. with Anne
Why did you start breeding?
There are too many people who breed for the money. When breeding for the betterment of this breed, with regard to the physical and emotional health of future generations, a reputable breeder just hopes to break even financially. My sister has bred Weimaraners for 40 years and her dedication to the health and love of this breed led me to want to do the same with Vizslas.
What makes your program special?
Because of my dedication to both the physical and mental health of these incredible dogs, I breed to pass these traits down to future generations. I know I am not the only breeder who strives for the betterment of their breed, but I also know there are too many disreputable sources out there. I hope to help families find their puppies from responsible and ethical sources to help build a better and safer world for our dogs!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are golden rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
