I'm Shawna S., the breeder behind Serendipity Sighthounds located in Chehalis, WA. Our dogs come from established bloodlines with proven performance in various sports. Conformationally correct with wonderful temperaments, our puppies are raised in-home with our unique Mythic Method that sets them up for success for life as a pet or in the performance ring and coursing field.

Where do your breeding dogs live?

Shawna has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Shawna partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.
“After an application and interviews while staying in touch through their first 12 weeks, puppies are matched to the family we feel can give everyone, puppy as well as the family, the best possible life. We match by the temperament and potential to fulfill the goals of their new person and not by color. ”

“Includes worming, vaccinations, socialization & manners as well as a health guarantee & a lifetime of support. Rebate program available for taking obedience classes and putting titles on puppy.”
Shawna may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Shawna offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Shawna directly.
When you pay and communicate on Good Dog, you’re covered by Payment Protection.
You can drive or fly to pick up your puppy from Shawna.

Silken Windhound
About June Bug
June Bug is a sweet girl with drive to run and train as much as possible. When not training, competing or wrestling with her best friend Busy Bee, she is happiest snuggling as close as possible with her people. Her favorite place to sleep is above my head on her own pillow. She is a UKC Grand Champion with multiple performance titles and we are happy to share the Silkens were just accepted into AKC as an FSS breed. They are amazing family dogs that fit well in an active lifestyle.

Irish Wolfhound
About Arya
Arya is a female Irish Wolfhound over 7 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Shawna decided to make her part of their program. Shawna has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.
Excellent health testing
Great level
Serendipity Sighthounds reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Silken Windhounds.

Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
DNA Disease Panel
