Why did you start breeding?
I grew up around dogs, and my father bred them while I was younger, which gave me early exposure to the process. Over time, my own interest in working dogs and training led me to take a more intentional, hands-on approach to breeding with a focus on health, temperament, and proper early development.What makes your program special?
My program is intentionally small and hands-on, with a focus on quality over quantity. Puppies are raised in my home with structured early neurological and scent development, daily handling, and consistent exposure. Backed by health-tested parents, I prioritize sound structure, stable temperaments, and true versatility for both field and family life.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are liver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Josh
Josh has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Josh partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.
“Puppies are matched to homes around 6–7 weeks of age based on temperament, structure, and overall personality. I work closely with each buyer to ensure the best fit for their lifestyle and goals. Selection follows deposit order, with breeder guidance to support long-term success.”
Price
“Puppies start at $2,000. AKC registration, vaccinations, and deworming included. From health-tested parents and championship lineage. Raised in-home with structured early development. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy and secure pick order. All puppies are priced equally regardless of gender or markings. Deposit is applied to the total price. Puppies include AKC registration, vaccinations, and deworming.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
