I'm Chris B., the breeder behind Silver Creek Short Hairs located in Galva, IA. We are a very small kennel that just started in 2022. We love spending time with our dogs and enjoying working with hunting dogs, that's what lead us to start a kennel! We are not interested in producing tons of litters a year, the goal it to produce high quality dogs while giving our dogs the best life we can offer!

Why did you start breeding?
Some of our hunting buddies have done it in the past, it seems like a great experience and a great way to network and make more hunting friends.What makes your program special?
We really focus on keeping things small scale and service after the sale. We want all of our customers to feel they can contact us with any questions that may arise. We also really focus on starting the puppy's prey drive at an early age, we introduce our pups to wings and live birds starting at 4 weeks and keep progressing the training from their+Where do your breeding dogs live?
