I'm Carol S., the breeder behind Sims English Mastiffs located in Inverness, FL. We take pride in our Mastiffs and when we do have a litter we strive to produce to meet AKC/OFA standards. We research our stud's pedigrees prior to breeding to look at getting all the strengths of each canine being bred to ensure we are breeding for soundness, structure, temperament, and health.

Why did you start breeding?
Competing in AKC events and learning proper protocol through my handler/trainer, I wanted to build a foundation to enhance and better the breed for myself and others to enjoy their true personalities while enjoying their company and socializing with others.What makes your program special?

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
