Litter update on 04 Aug. •…Part of raising puppies with Puppy Culture is introducing them to various types of stimuli. At four weeks they get *the puppy play gym*. This enables them to be curious and explore different types of dangling toys which they can tug on and interact with. Mental stimulation is extremely important for this breed and this is just the start!

About Joy
Joy is a 55 lb liver spotted dalmatian with the most wonderful temperament. A social butterfly - she loves everyone she meets, people and dogs alike. Joy wants to be wherever her people are, in typical velcro dalmatian fashion. She loves all treats, long walks through downtown Austin, and dipping her feet in at Barking Springs. Joy is registered and OFA health tested and has a CHIC number. She received a "good" rating for her hips, passed her OFA thyroid test, and has been BAER hearing tested (and she does have bilateral (full) hearing).

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
