I'm Angela S., the breeder behind Smith Acres Doodles located in Watford City, ND. We’re blessed to be able to help families experience the longtime loyalty of welcoming a new puppy into their lives! We want to do our part to produce great, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well, and we strive to provide each of our puppies with loving homes where they can live happy lives.

Why did you start breeding?
The interior design world helped spark my interest in these beautiful dogs. I reviewed numerous ads and magazines finding that sheepadoodles were part of the design photo shoots. Their panda bear coloring, and teddy bear faces captured my heart. I began to seek out information on these dogs and was able to adopt my best friend, Henry. I’m passionate about this family friendly breed!What makes your program special?
We are a small breeding operation. Our dogs are treated like family and are trained to be both inside and outside dogs. We focus on exceptional temperament and great overall health of our animals. The acreage we live on offers our dogs superb room to run, play and grow. Our puppies will be socialized with children and other dogs. Our ultimate goal is to provide you with a friend for life!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

About Leo
Leopold Von McKenzie is a handsome AKC registered parti colored Standard Poodle. He was born June 22, 2022. He has a clear Embark genetic health panel. Leo has a mild mannered temperament. He enjoys playing with children and other dogs. Leo has some prey drive and would make a great bird dog with his keen sense of smell. He alerts us with a bark when people come in the yard. He has been a great addition to Smith Acres!

Bunny is a gentle natured, calm and quiet F1b Reverse Sheepadoodle. She loves to be around people, especially children. Bunny is relaxed on the leash and seldom barks. She follows me around the house like a shadow and loves to be snuggled. She is Embark tested and has a clear panel.

About Hattie
Hattie is our beautiful F1 Standard Sheepadoodle female. She was born December 11, 2021. She has a chirpy personality and always has a smile. Sheepadoodles commonly smile and show all their teeth when you talk to them. It's a fun character quality in these sweet dogs that will keep you laughing throughout your day. She is energetic and loves to play fetch and go for walks. She has a keen sense of smell and loves to flush out birds on our acreage. She is super obedient and incredibly smart. She loves children and other dogs. Our barn cats are not her biggest fan.
