Meet the breeder

I'm Emma H., the breeder behind SmokePoint GSPs located in Ash Flat, AR. Dogs have always been my passion. At SmokePoint GSPs, we live what we breed—our dogs hunt, hike, compete, and relax alongside us. I’m dedicated to producing intelligent, healthy, and versatile GSPs who excel as both family companions and capable partners in the field.

Q. & A. with Emma

  • Why did you start breeding?

My journey into breeding began with a deep love for dogs and a desire to understand what makes them thrive. With guidance from incredible mentors who shared their wisdom in structure, genetics, and training, I found my purpose in producing balanced, versatile GSPs that honor the breed and those who shaped me.
  • What makes your program special?

What sets SmokePoint apart is our balance of passion and purpose. Every pairing is carefully planned for health, structure, and temperament, and every puppy is raised with hands-on enrichment and exposure. Our dogs are versatile, confident, and capable—ready to excel in the home, field, or ring.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
