I'm Amy, and Joe D., the breeder behind Son of a Poodle Sheepadoodles located in Blackfoot, ID. We are huge animal lovers and have a special place in our hearts for our dogs. We want to provide top-quality beloved companions. We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families.

Why did you start breeding?
We have been breeding since 2012 when we fell in love with Sheepadoodles. They are the perfect mix of the Old English Sheepdog and the Standard Poodle.
What makes your program special?
We use several techniques such as Early Neurological Stimulation to help develop well adjusted puppies.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue and white, blue gray and white, gray and white, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

About MISSY
Missy is AKC registered with Grand Champion Bloodlines. She is a Sheepdog through and through. She loves to have all the attention all the time. Missy is full of fun and wants to be involved in everything. From baking a cake to taking a nap, she is up for anything.
Missy weighs in at 67 lbs. is 23 inches at the shoulder. She is a Showstopper with the personality to match.

About Fitz
Fitz is a purebred parti standard poodle, with a wonderful personality. He is a very gentle dog and loves to play with young children! What is a parti standard poodle? It is a poodle that is at least fifty percent white, with spots or patches of any other acceptable solid color. It is the rarest color; it is hardly ever seen. As you can see Fitz is a black/white parti poodle weighing in at 63lbs and 24″ tall at the shoulder.
His coat is hypoallergenic, and he will pass this great gene down to his kids! What does a hypoallergenic mean? Low in allergens, and a added bonus is they DO NOT shed! Fitz has the sweetest personality which he passes down to his children. He is definitely a very lovable dog and a great daddy!

Hip Dysplasia , Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
