I'm Joshua H., the breeder behind Space City Presas located in Houston, TX. Our puppies are excellent representations of their breed, and we are proud to offer our high-quality puppies to loving homes. As experienced breeders, we do everything we can to ensure breed standards are passed down to each new litter. We’re proud to be positively contributing to this wonderful breed.

Why did you start breeding?
I’ve always had animals since I was a child. My parents gifted me 2 Chows and later a German Shepherd to care for to teach me responsibilities. In college, I volunteered at a veterinarian clinic to learn how to properly care for and help animals. In 2004, I began breeding guardians for neighbors in a small community who were having issues with burglars. In 2009, I was introduced to the Presa Canario breed. I was and still am amazed at their look, temperament, confidence, and size. It was like love at first sight. Since then I’ve been 100% committed to the Presa Canario.What makes your program special?
We research the parent’s Health, Genetics, Temperament, Functionality, and Structure equally before breeding to bring you the best Presa possible. Our Presa’s are well balanced, they can be either a great family companion, show dog and/or working dog.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, fawn, and tiger. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Joshua
Joshua has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“This price includes a health guarantee, UKC registration, puppy personality testing, vaccinations, worming, desensitizing and socialization. . The deposit is required when a litter is confirmed to reserve your selection. The number of your deposit determines your pick of the litter.”
Contract & health guarantee
Joshua may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
