I'm Rebekah B., the breeder behind Spot Splattered Dalmatians located in Des Moines, IA. Hi!
Our dalmatians are raised in our home. We care about fixing the poor reputation dalmatians got back in the 90s from unethical breeders. We primarily focused on getting dogs who are behaviorally sound and genetically healthy. Then, we focused on colors. We want you to have a perfect dalmatian.
Q. & A. with Rebekah
Why did you start breeding?
I have always been interested in breeding. I begged my parents for dogs to breed, who thankfully didn't allow it. I definitely did not have the knowledge needed to breed dogs well.
I got our first Dalmatian when my husband and I got engaged. We quickly realized how much fun they were. With my interest still in breeding, I researched it and realized I could do it. So I went for it.
What makes your program special?
My pups go through quite a bit of training. T
My dalmatian breeders have gone through several health tests to make sure they are perfect for your family! The puppies get their 6 week vaccines, and a vet checkup. They get dewormed, microchipped, and BAER tested. We also only breed LUA dalmatians.
I want you to get very best dalmatian possible. That's why I strive to breed perfect dalmatians.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white black and tan and white and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
