I'm Connie W., the breeder behind Spotlight Dalmatians located in Ocala, FL. We breed for temperament and all breeding stock have their CHIC numbers. Member of the Dalmatian Club of America and Mid-Florida Dalmatian Club. Spotlight Dalmatian has been showing and breeding for 40 years.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Started out showing my Dalmatians and breeding my champions to improve on each generation.
  • What makes your program special?

    After 40 years, people always tell me that they can tell a Spotlight Dalmatian when they see them in the ring. I have developed a consistent type.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include white and liver brown and white and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes a State of Florida health certificate showing all shots given. CHIC and Champion Sire and Dam. All puppies are microchipped and BAER hearing tested at the University of Florida Neurology.”

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
