Q. & A. with Linda

  • Why did you start breeding?

We adopted our boy Buck (Mountain Myst Dream of the Arctic Wolf) in 2021. Not long thereafter, we looked at each other one day and said, "What would you think of breeding Northern Inuit dogs?" We discussed it with our breeder, who supported our getting the necessary training, and it all unfolded from there!
  • What makes your program special?

Early Neurological Stimulation, “Puppy Culture”, and Volhard temperament testing. A 4-generation pedigree, health certificate, and documentation of all age-related medical procedures.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Linda was wonderful to work with. She placed great care and attention into her animals and her program. I enjoyed visiting and getting to know the pups, the parents, the relatives, and of course the Linda herself. This was my first time going to a breeder instead of an animal rescue and the experience was lovely and I absolutely love the newest member of our family. Linda provided insights, literature, and a lovely organized folder full of records of medical attention, clearances, family lineage, and behavior tests and environmental exposures. While I am not a professional kennel club type, I am a veteran and have spent a lot of time around working dogs. I felt SRANID was professional, kind, personable, and I would happily get another puppy from this breeder.
