Tara B.

Breeder of Dalmatians

Meet the breeder

I'm Tara B., the breeder behind Stagecoach Dalmatians located in Hagerstown, MD. We truly love our dogs and what we do! We offer top-quality, AKC, healthy pups for Maryland and surrounding area residents. Our Dalmatians are raised in our home as beloved members of our family so that we can prepare them to be wonderful additions to yours. They are well-tempered, health-tested, family companions with foundations that nurture curiosity, drive, and obedience. We teach obedience.

Q. & A. with Tara

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got my first Dalmatian in 1987. I trained my first boy, Max, in obedience and decided to get into breeding to produce Dalmatians with sound structure and wonderful temperaments. I have been breeding and competing in conformation and obedience ever since. I took a little time off for for raising children. There is no dog like a Dalmatian; they are the ultimate velcro dog.
  • What makes your program special?

Our puppies get a tremendous amount of socialization and leave us as conficent outgoing puppies. Both of us are long-time obedience instructors of 25+ years. We are always there to help if you need it. We love what we do and truly want the very best for our puppies and their forever families.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are white and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
