I'm Heather D., the breeder behind Stand Alone Cockers located in Peoria, AZ. My dogs have outstanding confirmation, temperament, health, and are just overall lovable. The dogs I show are the sires and dams I use in my breeding program, and I am able to keep an eye on their health and ensure their overall health and well-being.
Q. & A. with Heather
Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding in order to help to improve the temperament of these lovely dogs. Over the years, I have continuously grown as a breeder, an owner, and a handler. I have been showing Cocker Spaniels now for nearly a decade, and I currently have 3 champions and have had one show litter.
What makes your program special?
My line stems from the Dal-Mar line. Donna Harrington has been a proven breeder with successful champions, health and temperament. Donna has been my mentor and friend through my start in this dog show world. My dogs have outstanding confirmation, temperament, health, and are just
lovable. I am able to keep and eye on their health and ensure the overall health and well being of
their future puppies.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and white, red and white, buff, black, and silver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
