Why did you start breeding?
I started out with Saint Bernard's and have dedicated my time to them over the last 16 years. The first time I met a Boerboel was at a dog show and I fell head over heals! I fell in love with their guardian traits yet the big, dense goofball of a Mastiff with bear paws and a head much larger than mine. The sincere loyalty and intelligence has me wrapped around every ounce of this breed.

At Standing Stone Boerboels, you are not just taking home a puppy, You are bringing home a legacy of dedication to preserving health, temperament, and confirmation in which are all areas we set in stone and stand behind! Standing Stone Boerboels is proud to guarantee the health and temperaments of the companions you bring home to your family from our family!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include piebald, irish marked, black, brindle, tawny, reddish brown, red, fawn, brown, and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Shantelle

Shantelle has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $6,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our pricing varies per breeding as some breedings are more expensive than others to perform. Companion puppies who are placed in pets homes are on the lower price range. Puppies with breeding rights start at $5000 depending on the breeding. . Deposits/Reservation fees are non refundable however transferable as long as we are notified of you needing to transfer to an upcoming litter by the puppies being 5 weeks old. Any payments paid towards your balance are non refundable however transferable to upcoming litters without restriction.”

Contract & health guarantee

Shantelle may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Marleigh
Marleigh is certainly one of my most favorite ladies when it comes to temperament and her shenanigans! She is the class clown of our crew and has kept us on our toes ever since the very day she arrived to us! Her breeder is a spectacular breed ambassador and we are beyond blessed to have been trusted with such a phenomenal Boerboel to join our program! Marleigh will contribute spectacular traits to our developing program! Marleigh is a high drive gal who requires routine enrichment to keep her mentally fulfilled and a happy canine. She enjoys going to work with mom and is a social butterfly when meeting new people. Most often, you will find Marleigh wearing out the group play dogs at our pet resort, always carrying a toy or random treasure around to show all of her human pals! Marleigh is an elegantly athletic built female with great structure! She packs a ton of punch with her genetics and will pair beautifully with the properly selected studs to ensure her offspring are out of this world!

About Gunner
Gunner is an extremely gentle natured giant with an impeccable sense of genuine devotion to his humans. Gunner is an incredible member of our family and program as he has alot of fine qualities to offer when we are talking structure, temperament and his health scoring not to mention his eagerness to keep our family entertained with his silliness and shenanigans! Gunner is a giant baby around his family yet in situations where Gunner's job is to protect our acreage and family, he is well rounded when it comes to enforcing boundaries and maintains control and recall. Gunner is a delightfully intelligent stud and always eager to learn new commands and thrives in various enrichment activities from agility, swimming, keeping an eye on our livestock and the occasional badger hunt! Gunner lives here with our family, we are beyond grateful to his breeder for trusting us with top tier genetics as well as to the breeders behind him for preserving and offering the US with some of the finest genetics to date!

About Reya
Reya has been a wonderful addition to our program and family! We have had the pleasure of raising this gorgeous brindle Queen up from a young puppy and have always admired her! Reya is a very protective female, extremely alert of her surroundings and the greatest protection asset for our farm and family. I can literally point in a direction and she is literally will make her inspections regardless if I point to something in close proximity or clear across our acreage! We are genuinely grateful that her breeder allowed for us to bring home such a special, sound Boerboel! So far her offspring has been fabulous family companions boding outstanding temperaments, excellent conformation, and so far possessing the health standard we strive for! Reya contributes so many spectacular qualities to our family and program as she has brought in a diversity of genetics which allows for us to diversify our offerings where type is concerned.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
