Meet the breeder

I'm Marco P., the breeder behind Stoney Creek's Vizslas located in Bruce Twp, MI. Whiskey became an AKC Conformation Champion in 2023 and has been a loyal companion and hunting partner since he was 1 year old. Rye comes from a long line of AKC Conformation and Field Champions. We consulted with other breeders, had all the required health tests and decided to have this litter.

Q. & A. with Marco

  • Why did you start breeding?

We have had only had one prior breeding. Nine years ago we breed Patriot (CH Wingsong's Patriotic Spirit) with Razzy (Stonepointes's Americana Razzmatazz) to get Whiskey. This is only our Kennels 2nd litter and the first and only with Whiskey and Rye. We are planning to keep a puppy from this litter and it will be our final Vizsla. Each one of these puppies are special in their own way.
  • What makes your program special?

We planned this litter to extend our family. This is our one and only breeding and has been planned for 5 years. We were advised by other Vizsla breeders and professionals that this litter will produce puppies that will meet and surpass the conformation, health and behavior standards expected from champion bloodline Vizslas.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are golden rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Marco

Marco partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“We will conduct a puppy/ family matching interview with the chosen puppy owners around 5-6 weeks and discuss lifestyle, hobbies, travel, living environment, other pets, etc. This will help us make pairing much more successful.”

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,950 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This litter has also been registered with the AKC. The puppies will receive DNA genetic test, they will have been de-wormed, vaccinated and have been AKC registered with puppy packages. We have been and will continue to socialize this litter through AKC online coarse. Puppies will go to their forever home only after completing a Puppy Questionnaire and being interviewed with a health guarantee and a lifetime return contract. Deposit is a litter place holder for a specific puppy chosen.”

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
