Q. & A. with Lauren
Why did you start breeding?
We became interested in breeding after showing our dogs and spending time with some of the very accomplished breeders in our breed at the parent club specialties we attend. We spent the first 7 years showing and ensuring that we understood our breed standard prior to our first litter.
What makes your program special?
I am fortunate to have a breed with a very supportive national club whose members have become teachers and advisers. We have worked with some of the most accomplished breeders in the States and Europe and have dogs bred by them in our program. We build on their work and hope to make them proud. We want to live with and show the best examples of the breed attainable. We breed for us.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
