I'm Marianna C., the breeder behind Storybook Tails Farm located in Murfreesboro, TN. We started a responsible, in-home breeding program in order to produce gorgeous quality farm dogs that fit into a home setting. We focus on breeding dogs that have enough drive on the farm to keep up with our lifestyle, also having amazing temperaments and can quickly adapt to a calm family setting.

Why did you start breeding?
When we retired and started our farm, we did so with purpose. With Fred’s background in management and business, every decision was intentional. When our livestock needed guardian dogs, he researched carefully and decided that if we were going to breed Great Pyrenees, we would breed the best. Our focus has been on strong bloodlines, sound structure, steady temperament, and true working ability.What makes your program special?
Our program is built on AKC Grand Champion and Champion bloodlines raised in our daily family environment. Though we maintain livestock, our dogs are also part of life in a subdivision environment, giving them broader socialization and exposure. Puppies are born and raised in our home for eight weeks, building confident, well-adjusted companions and capable guardians.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Marianna
Marianna has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Marianna partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.
"We begin thoughtfully matching puppies with their families at around six weeks of age, once individual temperaments are clearly emerging. By then, we can evaluate confidence, energy level, guardian instinct, and overall personality. This allows us to guide each family toward the puppy best suited for their home, lifestyle, and goals."
Price
"Our pricing reflects the care and foundation each puppy receives, including a written health guarantee, first vaccination, biweekly deworming, and a veterinary wellness exam before going home. Deposits are non-refundable unless we cannot fulfill your specified preferences such as gender or color. In such cases, refunds will be issued."

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. He loves stretching his legs across the pastures and watching over everything around him, always alert and engaged in his surroundings. Despite his playful energy outdoors, Woody has a wonderfully gentle side. Bring out a brush and he will happily settle beside you, soaking up the attention and enjoying a long, relaxing grooming session. His loving nature, enthusiasm for farm life, and calm, affectionate temperament make him a very special part of Storybook Tails Farm.
