I'm Tracey O., the breeder behind Strawberry River Chihuahuas located in Strawberry, AR. I raise quality dogs for reputable pet/show/breeding homes. All puppies are AKC champion sired or grandsired and have lengthy show lines. My dogs are all genetic tested. New families come to me in Arkansas or I can sometimes meet part way at buyers expense, or use flight nanny.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I’ve been dog crazy since I could walk. Couldn’t wait to raise puppies!! Finally in the 90’s, moved to the ozarks and started breeding. I wasn’t content raising pet quality so I worked hard to get the best bloodlines I could get. We tried other breeds because I love all dogs. Our favorite family dog was Scarlet the chihuahua so we settled on chihuahuas.

  • What makes your program special?

    The quality not only of my pups but of my customer service both before and after the sale. I have long term relationships with many of my buyers and have many repeat buyers.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
