Meet the breeder

I'm Julie W., the breeder behind Sundown's located in Terloc, CA. I don't breed regularly and focus on quality over quality. I am purposeful in everything I do regarding my dogs, including careful selection of breeding dogs and extensive health testing. My goal is to produce healthy dogs with great temperaments, working drives, and conformation that are exemplary representations of the breed.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    It is important to me that I not only continue my own phenomenal bloodlines but that I am improving this breed with each litter and ensuring the well-being of these dogs for generations more to come. It is an honor to represent this breed and create opportunities for others to experience the same joy that I've found in raising these wonderful dogs.

  • What makes your program special?

    I am a professional handler of Chihuahuas. I do not breed my dogs unless they are fully healthy and genetically tested. I am dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, socializing, and training my pups. I work with passion, heart, and integrity, and I truly want what's best for the Chihuahua line.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include fawn and blue fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
