I'm Alesha T., the breeder behind Sunflower Family Farms located in Kissimmee, FL. All of our dogs are unique indoor loved spoiled family dogs! All of our dogs are very desensitized as well as genetically health tested and cleared for over 200+ diseases. Many of our pups are service, therapy, or PTSD trained dogs.
Q. & A. with Alesha
Why did you start breeding?
I have always loved dogs and my mom bought me a dog book of the different breeds when I was 9. I remember looking in the back of the book and there were pictures of a Golden Retriever whelping and I instantly wanted to start doing it(my parents weren’t on board at the time 😂). I have always had that dream, but later in life did several years of internships with other breeders and here I am now!
What makes your program special?
-ALL- of my dogs are indoor spoiled and loved. Our dogs are our family and only receive the best care and attention. Most breeders dogs spend the majority or full life outside, but ours enjoy a nice life in our home. Our puppies and parents get lots of treats, toys, bones, and social activities! Our mama dogs get home cooked meals 2-3 times per day.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Aleisha is amazing. She’s so warm, funny and sweet. You can tell how much she’s loves her dogs and the pups. This is the first time I ever purchased a puppy and I was nervous as you hear so many horror stories. The pups are all so cute if I had the time I would totally have gotten two. As it is, I’m thrilled with my newest fur baby from tova’s litter. She is pretty much puppy pad trained and on day 1 after getting her home she was already walking on leash (albeit not very happy) and going outside. Night 1 she slept in bed and only woke once, took her out and she peed, went back to bed until 7 am when I got up. She seems super healthy and tbh my hubby and I were shocked at the size of the dog food she was sent home with along with the bag of toys. We were honestly thinking like a couple of toys, blanket and a small bag of food. She easily has enough food for a good month or two!
She’s 10 weeks now and definitely becoming more puppy as she’s grown accustomed to the home. She’s playing even more and jumping around, barking etc. she’s still a total sweetheart and loves the attention she gets from people that meet her!
TLDR If you are interested in a puppy get one from her. It is worth every penny knowing the parents are loved and the puppies are well cared for.
