I'm Hollyn H., the breeder behind Sunny Jewels Dalmatians located in Davenport, FL. Sunny Jewels Dalmatians is a small, family-based breeding program. We raise health- and genetic-tested short and long coat Dalmatians, including LUA lines, in our home with children, dogs, and cats. We focus on sound temperaments, proper socialization, and lifelong breeder support.

Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding through years of hands-on experience helping my sister build her Dalmatian program Spotted Jewels Dalmatians. Along the way, I fell in love with the breed, their personalities, and the variety of beautiful coats. After getting my first Dalmatian, I knew I wanted to follow in her footsteps and build a sister program of my own in Florida.What makes your program special?
My program is built alongside my sister’s, with the same hands-on care, values, and love for the breed. Our dogs come from shared lines, and we work closely together while raising our programs in two different states. My dogs are family first, and I’m committed to thoughtful breeding, honest communication, and lasting relationships with my puppy families.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are white and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Hollyn partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Each puppy goes home with registration paperwork, BAER hearing results, veterinary records, microchip registration, a two-year health guarantee, and a puppy bag. A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy. Deposits are applied to the final purchase price and are transferable to another available puppy while we are actively breeding.”

Litter update on 28 Sept •…7 Weeks Old! I seriously cannot believe these babies are already 7 weeks old! We are officially in our last week with most of them before they start heading off to their forever homes, and it is definitely bittersweet. This past week was a BIG one! All 9 puppies passed their BAER hearing testing with full hearing in both ears, and they also had their vet exams, first round of puppy vaccines, and negative fecals. Everyone received a great report from our vet and is healthy, happy, and growing perfectly! Their personalities are completely out now and they are SO much fun. They spend their days playing, exploring, following us around, giving lots of kisses, and then piling together for naps. We’re continuing to work on their potty pan training and getting them as prepared as possible for the transition to their new homes. This next week is all about soaking up our last little bit of time together and getting everyone ready for their families. I can’t believe we’re almost at go-home day! 🤍

Litter update on 24 Sept •…Happy Fall from the puppies! 🍂🎃 Our little crew is officially 6½ weeks old, and we had to celebrate fall with a little dress-up! It has been a BIG week for the puppies! Everyone had their vet visit, received their first round of puppy vaccines, had negative fecals, and got a great report from our vet. Everyone is healthy, happy, and growing perfectly! They also completed their BAER hearing testing and every single puppy has full hearing in both ears! We are so happy to have such amazing results across the entire litter! Their personalities are getting bigger by the day. They’re playful, cuddly, curious, and absolutely love being around people. We’re continuing potty pan training and getting them ready for their transition into their forever homes. We’re officially in the final stretch before go-home, and I cannot believe how quickly these weeks have gone! Happy Fall from our very ferocious little crew! 🍁🤍

Program update on 22 Sept •…BAER testing day! The puppies had their BAER hearing tests done today, and we are so happy to share that all 9 puppies have full bilateral hearing! Everyone did so well and officially passed with hearing in both ears. Another big milestone checked off before these babies start heading to their forever homes! 🤍🐾

Litter update on 20 Sept •…Our Starbucks litter are 6 Weeks Old! I seriously can’t believe these babies are already 6 weeks old! Their personalities are REALLY coming out now, and they are at such a fun age. They’re playing nonstop, following us everywhere, giving all the kisses, and getting more confident and curious every single day. Their spots are continuing to come in and they’re getting fluffier by the day. We’ve also been continuing getting them used to all kinds of everyday sounds, people, handling, and new experiences to help prepare them for their future homes. Chai, Latte, and Double Shot have officially found their forever families, which makes this week extra exciting! We still have a few of our sweet boys and one girl looking for their perfect homes, and they each have such different little personalities now. BAER hearing testing is coming up at this week, and then we’re officially in the home stretch before go-home weekend! I’m going to soak up these last couple of weeks because 8 weeks is coming WAY too fast. 🤍

Litter update on 12 Sept •…Five weeks old! 🐾🤍🖤 Our Starbucks puppies are officially 5 weeks old! 🥹 They are getting bigger, braver, and more playful every single day! Their little personalities are really starting to show now. They love playing with each other, exploring, giving lots of kisses, and of course crashing for a puppy nap after all the excitement. 😂💕 We’ve been continuing to introduce them to new sounds, surfaces, people, and experiences! We’re working on building good habits now to help make the transition to their new homes a little easier. 🐾

Litter update on 06 Sept •…Four weeks old! 🐾🤍🖤 Our Starbucks puppies are officially 4 weeks old today! 🥹 They are growing SO fast, and every week brings something new. Their spots are really starting to come in, they’re getting much steadier on their feet, and they’re becoming more playful and curious every day! They’re starting to explore more, play with each other, and we’re seeing more of their little personalities come out. 🥰 We’ve also started introducing them to new sounds, surfaces, and experiences. Lots of eating, playing, exploring, and of course plenty of puppy naps. 🤍 The next few weeks are going to be so much fun! 🐾💕

Litter update on 30 Aug •…Three weeks old! 🐾🤍🖤 Our Starbucks puppies are officially 3 weeks old today! 🥹 They’re growing and changing SO fast. Their eyes are open, their little spots are becoming more noticeable every day, and they’re starting to get much more mobile and curious about the world around them! We’re also beginning to see little glimpses of their individual personalities, which is so much fun. 🥰 They’re getting stronger, wobbling around more, and of course still doing plenty of eating, snuggling, sleeping and starting to play with each other.🥹 The next few weeks are going to bring so many exciting changes! 🐾💕

Litter update on 30 Aug •…Freshly bathed & getting spotty! 🛁🐾🤍🖤 The puppies got their baths, and we can’t believe how many new spots are starting to come through! Every day their little Dalmatian patterns become more noticeable, and it’s so fun watching each puppy develop their own unique markings. 🥹 I also added more individual photos to each puppy’s profile, so be sure to check them out if you want a closer look at all those adorable new spots! 🖤🤍 They’re growing and changing so quickly! 🐾💕

About Rory
Rory is a female Dalmatian. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Hollyn decided to make her part of their program. Hollyn has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA), Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
