Meet the breeder

I'm Jill O., the breeder behind Sunspot located in Eureka, CA. I am an obedience instructor. My goal is to produce a great representation of my dogs and set them up for success in their lives with their forever families. I have been retired from breeding since 1995. My dogs are a huge part of my life, and I enjoy spending time with them. In my spare time, I enjoy doing nose-work.

Why did you start breeding?
A consistent love for dogs and obedience training encouraged the beginning of Sunspot. I wanted to do my part to better the breed. It is an honor to represent this breed and create opportunities for others to experience the same.
What makes your program special?
I have many years of experience with Dalmatians, dog training, and nose work. My expertise in these fields is what sets me apart from other programs. Although I am retired from breeding, I strive to continue my knowledge and share that knowledge with others to create a world of happy and healthy dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
