Meet the breeder

I'm Katherine C., the breeder behind Superstes Guard located in Phoenix, AZ. Our dogs are bred for health, conformation and temperament. I hope to create a line of bullies that can compete in UKC athletic games or be perfect companions for hiking or with your family.

Q. & A. with Katherine

  • Why did you start breeding?

My daughter was given the sole survivor of a litter to raise and she grew beautiful for about 4 months when she had to have surgery and did not make it. We were devastated by this loss and bought Nimbus as a new pup. When I saw how intelligent and loving this breed was, I decided to learn more about it and breed her because she is the smartest dog I have ever owned. She is single registered.
  • What makes your program special?

Unlike other breeding programs we are creating our style of American bully from scratch starting with genetically DNA and health tested dogs. I want to breed very healthy, much more functional Bullys that can compete in UKC games like agility and also hike and do activities with their owners. I want to bred away from breed health issues that prevent this. I also bred for intelligence.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include lilac, blue tri-color, blue fawn brindle, blue brindle, black, white, and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
