I'm Robin M., the breeder behind Sweet Street Dalmatians located in Tualatin, OR. My dogs are bred for health and temperament with a focus on intelligence and athleticism. The current dam, sire and puppy from their first litter together are titled in conformation, rally, obedience, agility, barn hunt, scent work, dock diving, lure coursing, CGC and NASDA.
Q. & A. with Robin
Why did you start breeding?
My current dam won the open liver class at the Dalmatian Club of America National and finished her championship with back to back specialty winners bitch/best of winners. She works hard at rally and obedience and is learning scent work and I decided to pair her with a dog who was very driven in other dog sports.
What makes your program special?
I’m focusing on the total dog. Not just health, temperament, and conformation but also a drive to work and perform. The year-old puppy from my dam’s first litter is already doing conformation, dock diving, rally, scent work, barn hunt and NASDA and we decided to repeat the breeding.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white and liver brown and white and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
