I'm Tracy R., the breeder behind Talmeades Dalmatians located in Eastover, SC. I’m passionate about Dalmatians and am excited to responsibly share them with the world! I offer top-quality, loving pups bred from healthy dogs that have proven themselves in the show ring. As a breeder, I feel a sense of responsibility to prioritize the overall health and temperament of each of my puppies and to ensure that they are loved and well cared for prior to joining their forever homes.
Q. & A. with Tracy
Why did you start breeding?
I have wanted to be involved in showing dogs for many years, but had not been able to have that opportunity. When my mentor and wonderful friend, Lisa Wageman, offered me my foundation dog, Vesta, I was overjoyed! Vesta is an amazing dog and finished her Grand Championship in 2020. I am so proud to be able to build my breeding and show program with her.
What makes your program special?
I take great care to make sure I raise and breed dogs responsibly. My foundation dog, Vesta, is CHIC certified, and I plan to continue thoroughly testing all active breeding dogs in my program. I use the Puppy Culture method of training and socializing puppies, which I believe gives them the best possible start to their lives, preparing them for their wonderful future homes.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
