Meet the breeder

I'm Aniko S., the breeder behind Tappancs Vizslas located in Tucson, AZ. We are fostering the European bloodline vizslas in the USA. Our puppies are not just loving family members, but excellent hunting companions and can excel in obedience, rally, agility, dock diving, scent work, etc.

Q. & A. with Aniko

  • Why did you start breeding?

We were born and raised in Hungary, the country where the vizsla originated from and where the vizsla is the national dog. The vizsla is one of the most popular breeds in Hungary; My grandmother had one therefore I was exposed to them from the very young age.
  • What makes your program special?

We imported our first doggies from Hungary and we are breeding exclusively Hungarian bloodlines. That means that we travel out of state (Wisconsin, Kentucky) to find a suitable sire.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are golden rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
