Meet the breeder
I'm Brent T., the breeder behind Temple Gun Dogs located in Montague, MI. Our goal is to bring some of the best European and American pedigrees together to create not only beautiful biddable dogs for the home, but also elegant, driven dogs for the field. There’s hardly a better feeling than being able to share this beautiful breed with other families that will love them the way that we do!
Q. & A. with Brent
Why did you start breeding?
When you find the right Breed and the right dogs, it’s hard not to want to replicate and improve what you have. This allure of always striving for better is something that was instilled in me at a young age and still does today, both in my personal and professional life. There is little that can match the sight of a litter of well bred German Shorthair Pointers. What makes your program special?
We have chosen some of the best pedigrees in Europe and America to base our breeding program from. Some of these pedigrees include, but are not limited to, Hege-Haus, Willow Creek, Top Gun and Sharp Shooters to name a few. What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include liver and white, black and white, liver roan, and black roan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

+7We got exactly what we wanted… color, gender and temperament. Simple and straight forward process. With the click of a button, the dog was ours. We met up with them at beautiful hiking path next to the lake and went right for a walk. Our pup ( Duke ) was basically house broken when got him, to this day he has not had one accident in the house! He is so smart and knows a handful of tricks already including place and kennel. He is so sweet and also crazy our 5 year old loves him. Duke is a real head turner and we get stopped everywhere with people asking about him! Over all great experience and I would happily recommend Brent and his dogs to anyone.
