I'm Maggie P., the breeder behind Tenacious Koolies located in Sioux Falls, SD. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament & herding instinct. We cherish each of our dogs and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives pos.sible including raising them with Avidog & Puppy Raising protocols.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My Breeder encouraged me to get into breeding based on my Males temperament, achievements and health. We will see if my foundation bitch will be paired with him pending her health tests. She already has great drive, temperament and herding abilities.

  • What makes your program special?

    The focus of our program is biddable working dogs with solid temperaments. Focus on herding/ performance homes is our goal.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Maggie

Maggie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Maggie partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

“We do our best to match on what you are looking for in a puppy, however, cannot guarantee this as we have limited females in this litter. I.E. you want a high drive female, we may or may not have one for you, but it would be a female. Also, assessments are just a picture in time, and there not any studies showing they are as predictive as once thought. How you raise, feed and train your puppy are HUGE factors. Our puppies are raised with puppy culture and avidog protocols. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“When my males are fully health tested and titled they will be available for stud services to approved bitches.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
