Breeder of Working Dog Crosses

Meet the breeder

I'm Carol G., the breeder behind Tendercross located in Vernonia, OR. Our dogs are bred with sharp endurance, protective instinct, loving nature, and the need to please their humans. They thrive from home to farm and will make sure to make your life much easier and fulfilled. They love all activities, working the farm, snuggling, and are great with all pets and humans.

Q. & A. with Carol

  • Why did you start breeding?

Both myself and my husband are disabled for different reasons. My husband is a combat veteran. Breeding cattle came first. Puppies are a new adventure. Animals are healing and keep us going strong. Our pups and all our animals aren't like family. They ARE family!
  • What makes your program special?

Our breeding program is special because its not constant. We dont believe in breaking down any pups body to push out litters back to back. We use care, time, and consideration first. We've already created the perfect cattle breed. Now its time to create the best pups! They will work side by side with you, be devoted to you, and have the trust and companionship like no other pups you've seen.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
