Why did you start breeding?
When you have finished showing some awesome dogs, it just follows that we would try and breed a dog that would represent the Teraz Lakeland Terriers.What makes your program special?
WE not only focus on Conformation but to breed dogs that are inquisitive and team players The dog should fit into your family. Lakelands excel at having fun! Training is interesting and they truly enjoy it. It is a game to them. There are many activities like barn hunt, Fast Cat and other performance sports that Lakelands excel in.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red grizzle, red, grizzle and tan, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Georgie
Georgie is a female Lakeland Terrier. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Judith decided to make her part of their program. Judith has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.
Parent health testing
Teraz reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Lakeland Terriers.
Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
