Why did you start breeding?
It wasn’t really something I’d planned on. I met a sibling to Ronin one day for a training evaluation and fell in love on the spot. Not looking a gift horse in the mouth, I took a risk and it has paid off more than I could have ever imagined. The places visited and people we have met along the way have been worth all of the time, money and energy invested.What makes your program special?
One word: Ethical. My dogs are my life’s work. I am going to ensure every box is checked before bringing puppies into this world for other people to love. I am constantly researching new or beneficial health tests to the breed, advocating for correct temperaments, showcasing the breed in a versatile manner and preparing every puppy to leave me well equipped to be a phenomenal companion to youWhere do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Reann

"All puppies will go home with AKC FSS/UKC registration. Breeding rights are NOT available. Puppies will be vaccinated, dewormed. Ear cropping is optional. Puppies are raised with Puppy Culture/AviDog. The deposit will hold your puppy and pay for ear cropping if desired before leaving the litter. Puppies who leave uncropped will remain uncropped per contract."

About Ronin
Ronin is a male Perro de Presa Canario almost 6 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of his breed, Reann decided to make him part of their program. Reann has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
