Meet the breeder

I'm Gregory F., the breeder behind Terrier Town of Tennessee located in Burns, TN. Much care is taken to produce healthy dogs with exceptional temperaments and social skills with a focus on agility, conformation and intelligence. All our pups are bred from champion pedigree moms and dads. TTT is dedicated to providing families with wonderful well balanced family pets.

Q. & A. with Gregory

  • Why did you start breeding?

Growing up in the Michigan thumb/bay area, bluebirds, doves, finches, Boxers, Brittany Spaniels and Miniature Schnauzers filled our home and yard with not only 'fresh fertilizer' but with many fond memories. My mom being raised on a working farm with cats, dogs, goats, horses and chickens made pets a priority. My parents bred Miniature Schnauzer's for years so I kind of grew up in this industry.
  • What makes your program special?

I like to think more than just DNA and pedigree screening but into the way I raise them. Yes, they do sleep in a kennel overnight (unless they are chosen for house duty) and maybe for a short afternoon nap, but the rest of the time they are basically family pets adjusting to home life. I feel that best prepares them for a future family pet scenario.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include tri-color and white and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

  • Patellar Luxation

Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Vet Wellness Exam

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Greg was amazing throughout the whole process and answered all my questions about Violet super patiently! He was really open about her health records and everything we needed to know, which made us feel really comfortable. Violet is me and my husband’s first puppy and honestly we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. You can tell Greg really loves and cares for his dogs. Violet came so well socialized, great with people and other dogs, super sweet temperament, and really smart and healthy too. She learned the pee pad by Day 3! Greg even personally drove to the airport and made sure all the paperwork and everything Violet needed was ready so the transition went smoothly. We genuinely feel so lucky we found her, she's perfect. Thank you Greg!

WOW! I could not have asked for a better experience! So many beautiful puppies to choose from but somehow the sparkle in Ivy‘s eyes got my attention. I had thousands of questions, no seriously, and Gregory took the time to answer all of them. He sent me updates with pictures, videos and shared concerns he had with my living scenario. Payment through the Good Dog platform was easy and accessible. Delivery/ pick up was a breeze. Gregory came prepared with everything I would need for a successful transition and it was. Thank you, thank you thank you!
